Engineer Classification
To ensure that engineering and construction companies in Abu Dhabi register their businesses and have the necessary resources and experience, the Abu Dhabi Municipality has established a system called classification.
If a construction or engineering consulting company wants to submit a bid for a government or semi-government project, classification is a requirement.
Requirements:
Three Company Engineers with a minimum combined experience of 3 years and minimum equity of AED 20 million are needed for each Classifying Activity.
In the last ten years, the Company has completed projects totaling AED 240 million, according to the Classifying Activity.
