To safeguard Abu Dhabi's infrastructure and national resources, the CICPA Critical Infrastructure and Coastal Authority (CICPA) pass is a security clearance authorization. To work in any of Abu Dhabi's restricted regions, businesses and employees must get a CICPA pass.
The prerequisites for submitting a CICPA Pass application
The following requirements must be met by the businesses requesting a CICPA Pass:
The business needs to possess an Abu Dhabi Trade License,
Accredited by the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce,
Approval from the Supreme Petroleum Council (SPC).
A letter of invitation (LOA) from the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) is required,
and the company must maintain its contract with a concession holding company.
